Feb 3- Off to a slow start.  Actally a no start, as all of my flights and rescheduled flights were canceled yesterday.  All dressed up and no where to go.  Hiking clothes meant for 50 degrees not great in 10 degrees and blowng snow- was not planning on trying out for the Navy SEALS on the long way back from the airport yesterday.  The only Spanish I heard was the guy on the Boston subway announcing delays...

Now planning on a Feb 4 departure.  Wll now compress the itinerary in Pataonia some, which means there will be no relaxing.  Will go from a vacation to an ersatz Shakleton expedition.
