Well, that is Quito. Am heading into the Andes backcountry to do some hiking. I am sure the elevation won't be a problem as I have almost been able to get up to 2 flights of stairs in my Quito hotel without stopping. Quito is 9400' but Andes go up from there. They are just massive here. Maybe I will hire a lama.
